Might just be the most pointless thing I ever seen... Just pullin the hand brake and the letting it go when it pulls to hard.. Stupid. Pointless. Retarded.

RWD drifting on the other hand isn't that pointless. Technically drifting is a technique for turbo'd cars to keep there RPM's up in a turn so they can exit with more speed and more power. In a FWD can it just slows you down. Unless your on gravel. Then hell yeah! thumbsup

Hmmm... You might want to get that checked. When I pull mine up even half way they lock up. Especially when in a turn. thumbsup

Drifting allows you to fully utilize traction not just on the driving wheels, making it faster. Most racing don't use drifting because it's very ineffient on tire wear and it's too dangerous when there are numerous fast cars on track at the same time. If you think drifting is slow then you should try to race a good drifter on a twisty road then you'll see the difference between drifting and regular grip racing, it takes a lot skill to make a car do controlled slides at very high speeds.

And why all the HATING on drifting, it's not just a fad, it's the new import scene in the USA even though its been popular everywhere else, a few years ago import drag racing was being called a new fad but now it's a giant industry. Don't hate just because you don't have any skills or no preference for it.

lets see you race a JGTC car vs some drift car...

a race car will rape a drift car any day...

rally racing is different than drifting... rallying is a real sport...

drifting makes no sense from a racing perspective, the car is barely in control at any time, tire wear is insane makeing it retarded to pit 100000 times in a race...

drifting is like the F&F as of now...

it's all for show, no one said it'd be used in racing... wtf

it's there for us to enjoy watching some nice moves that cars can actually do with mad skill driver that can control the car in that situation...

why the fuck start saying that it's slower to run like that?! no one in the first place ever has said that it's for racing and is faster...

no it's not stupid and it is not lame. it all depends on the view point.

and i say to those of you who have a view point of thinking this is stupid and lame... think again, and please give me a reason why you think it's stupid and lame.

and dont give me answers like: oh because it's slower racing like that... or oh the tire wear shit... cause those are not reasons... people who does it, dont care, why would you care?!
