i was talking to a guy in a neighboring town here who has a civic with a CRV engine in it, with an integra head, and it got me to thinking, would it be possible to do like a RAV-4 block and a celica head? i'm just trying to think of engine space issues, as well as the fact of what you would use for the actual valves, not gonna do it, just kinda curious if it would work

Toyota engines aren't similar enough to create hybrids. You can't even put a 2ZZ head on a 1ZZ.

i dont think making all the parts different makes toyota engineers lazy...by making different parts and not interchanghable ones they have to do more work. Since the existing parts are not useable
