Cool thumbsup

Your cd receiver came out really bright in that first pic. eek

Did you make a harness for the unit or did you buy one to install into the back of the ashtray?

The Roadie 2 just barely does not fit into the ashtray so I took my dremel tool and cut out a little on the bottom. Now, it fits so snug that I didn't need a harness, glue, or anything.

If you have an XM ready deck all you need is to buy the XM tuner for around 149.99 and it plugs in the back of your deck, no need for an FM modulated tuner like Barrett has...Barrett Do you love XM over serius because you have a kenwood deck and you coulda got a kenwood tuner on a best buy discount for 1cent and bam you have serius satalite radio wink

Any questions on installs or satalite radio just PM me wink

What is under your CD player, up top?

I'm thinking about maybe grabbing one of those XM Roady's too when I get some cash. Looks nice!

Wonder if mounting it there would get in the way of a 6-speed?

Serius is not going out of business...actually XM was the one who had to borrow money to get up and running(hence commercials in the beginning) serius was developed by many contributors with no loans in a sense to payback. check out stock prices over the years also (xm has been going down). ALSO, you get better service with serius vs xm (serius has 3 satilites that move in a figure 8 around the us vs xm has 2 stationary satilites at each end of the us)...

Mounting wouldnt get in the way of your shifter, great install Barrett.

Where did you run/mount the antenna?

And where did you tie the power in to? wink

The antenna is on my roof right above the windshield in the middle. It is a magnetic mount so it can go just about anywhere you want. I have to power tapped in to my current stereo harness.
