So when I got my car back from the body shop the pas. window wasnt working. I check'd all fuses, wiring and then jump'd the window motor, to my pleasure it worked. So I concluded that the switch was out and needed to be replaced. So I took it in today after calling the dealer to set a time to have it replaced under warrant. So to make a long story short, I got there at 11am and they took it in about 12:15. After 5 min. in the bay the tech comes in and informs me that the window lock out button was pushed in and all I needed to do was give it another push and Id be back in biz. In the 2 years that Ive owned my car Ive never used it and basically firgot bout it. Musta been bumped at the shop

Lemme tell ya how retarted I felt, I sure gave them a good laugh. Also keep in mind that I got the car back almost 2 weeks ago, the entire time I coulda just pushed a button slap owned ohboy owned owned owned

i wonder if there's a way to modify that switch so it deactivates both windows, not just the passenger's. sometimes when i get my car washed, i lock my windows so that i can't roll them down while the car is still wet. i forget that it doesn't lock both, so being the genius that i am, i roll my window down for fresh air only to realize there's still water in the door. spineyes

Very funny story. I like to here that I'm not the only one to do stuff like that. I can beat that story if you would like to hear it sometime.

LOL!

Yah, I took my car in because the low washer fluid light wasn't coming on & I was out of fluid. After the mechanic looked over the car for 15 minutes he came back & said I didn't have one!! rofl rofl The Corolla I owned just before the Celi had it, I forgot & thought it just wasn't working.
