Naw I used the dremel to sand the edges. No way did I cut that. I tried ahah took 1 hour to just cut 1 inch and a bunch of flying dremel disc ouch! Don't recommend it. I made a template off the stock floor mats layed it flat over the huge chunk and marked the lines with green electric tape and went to a metal cutter that's local here. He has all the gadjets. Gave him 10 bucks to do it and bought the diamond plate for $50.00 for a giant piece. So around $60.00 for front and back and bunch some extra. They have different types of plates, different patterns, and depening on the thickness and the size it will matter when you purchase. It's the stuff they used for fire trucks and tool boxes grin. Some plates are 50-100 it just depends. I bent it all by myself doing the pretzel position grin.

Come over & visit I'll take you there doesn't take long to do!!!! The guy used this HUGE machine. He said he wasn't suppose to be doing outside work but it's all good since I gave him money haha. The machine cuts through insane types of metal. You insert the plate in the machine through a slot, step on a pedal, and that stomps the plate in the marked cuts it makes perfect cuts. The second machine makes the notches. Took me 1 hour to try to cut it and like 5 minutes for a machine to cut it haha. thumbsup

those would be pretty cool if they were powder coated in black...that way they wouldnt be too flashy but real different and it would protect it from salt and water
