I jus got pulled over today for my tint, and my folks have been trippin and want me to get it off... I fuckin hate cops! Do i have really have to take it to the cops after i get it takin off or wat?

I had that same problem here in VA. I just told the cop that I thought it was legit. After some smooth talking, he let me go but told me to get it fixed. Basicly, if you're cool with the guys who put it on for you, get them to write you some type of certified letter on a company letterhead saying that you got the tint corrected. If you go to court, show it to the judge. Maybe he/she will see that you've taken the proper action to solving the problem and let the ticket go.
I really think pulling people over for tint stuff is ridiculous. I mean really, with the murder rate so high, and DUI's occurring on the regular, couldn't they be doing something about preventing that? From the judge's perspective, I wouldn't want petty tickets for tint clogging up my docket if I were him. I understand it's the law, but please! It should be a secondary offense, something that they tac on when the pull you over for something more substantial, like speeding. My $.02
