Would it be illegal to have red in the dome light? I wonder about this since it is visible from around the car. unlike footwell neons.

ok then, what if I got stopped by a cop (for speeding or something) and had to turn it on; would he hassle me about it? Would it just depend on the cop's mood?

It would depend on the cop, those bastards. Of coarse if a dickhead cop sees it, they will hassle you. But i really dont think that you can get a ticket for that.

yeah just keep it off whilst in motion. i was in a fender bender and the cops showed up, i turned it on and they didnt care. i think it depends on the officer.

yea probably depends on the officer. if he is a real dick he'll prolly right you a ticket for it if its illegal or not and you have to go to court to prove him wrong. i've had mine on for over a year and no one said anythign about it tho. cept you cant see shit when its on

not illegal as long as its off while driving, just like a regular white dome light,at least in cali. mine was red for a while but like ghost sadi you cant see shit, but if you turn it on just for a sec to look at somethin while you're driving, you may be in trouble, because its a "flashing red light." my doorwell neons flash and i forgot to turn them off "pulse" and a cop rolled up next to me and gave me a bunch of shit but i whined and bitched my way out of it.

Im sure that it would B cool. If your windows are tinted I don't think anyone would notice...
