I want to get a DC header and TRD exhaust ! But I am thinking which one gains more HP , and should I buy them at same time, so I don't have to pay the shop 2 times to install them.

as long as you have an intake an exhaust the dc header isnt really worth it.

the dc header makes about 10 whp on its own and the trd exhaust makes about 5 whp on its own.

however, the intake/exhaust/header combo makes virtually no gain over just an intake/exhaust combo.

so, in essence, save your money on the header and just get intake and exhaust.

keep your eyes on the tpr header though..they aim to try and get a reasonable gain with the i/e/h combo.

and just some more fyi: ever current header for the celica makes virtually no gain as long as you already have an intake/exhaust.

the header does smooth out the power a little. plus some gains down low. to make a better assesment look at the DC header dyno i posted up.

The TPR exhaust gained about 10.5 whp on my car. I cant wait to see what the race header produces. Im estimating maybe another 8-10

My estimation for I/H/E is about 185-190 whp!

TPR Intake! - Injens high end with AEM's low end and NO BOGGING!
TPR EXHAUST! - Exhaust made 10.5 whp peak and 32 whp at 6300 on my car!!!

DC headers ain't worth it, barely any gains, best you wait for TPR when they get their headers done

I have a dc header along with I/E and felt a small porformance increase but nothing to get crazy over.

dont get it. on just a cold air intake i made 162whp and 118lbstq and when i installed the dc header, it only made 150whp and 115tq. i got hella angry and called DC sports and they were arguing back at me that i didn't tune it right. so i told them to f&&k off. believe me, ur not gonna see any gains with the stock ECU. just get a KAZUMA exhaust.

^^ lol well the dc header isn't gonna make you LOSE power, it just doesnt gain enough to justify it's cost.

if you dyno'd it on the same type of dynonameter (there are slight differences to each type), then you probably just tested it on a hotter day with more humidity...or a million other variables. hell, you're engine could just be getting weaker.

the only way to truly tell if you lost power was to do a pre-run without the dc header and then as fast as possible do a post-run with the dc header.

You guys should take off you heat shield off you GTS engines and you will see that you already have a header. My O4 GTS comes stock with a header. lol of course you wont get any gains.
