My friend was driving on a highway and a rock flew out of the back of a dump truck and smacked her window. it started out as a little hair line crack then it is starting to spread. any ideas on what she could do to fix that or is it not posible and the whole window needs to be replaced?
thanks for any advise

Depends on how big the crack is and if its reached the edges of the window. but more then likely any glass shop will be able to repair it like new.

If it was a spider web crack replace it. Little rock chips in the window can be prevents by a sealant. I would replace it soon so no serious damage happens down the line.

if its actually cracked...not just hairline...it will need to be replaced...if its a star shape smaller than a dime...it can be fixed with a sealant. thats all i know.
