ok, some dumb brawd (no offence to females) is flapping ger gums about how she has a chip in her 03 GT manual, ive ben working on a 04 GTS auto and she wants to put up, i am allmost positive there is no chip, not from JEGS not from Superchips no company i know i need an anwser asap im on the pavement at 12:00 tomarrow (tuesday) even if you dont know for sure drop me your thoughts, THANX

Chips don't work, but I've heard the manual GT can beat an auto GTS with a little bit of work done to it, headers, intake and exhaust

I disagree, she should still win, unless she sux at driving. Even an average driven gt should do 16.1-16.3 in the 1/4. I havent seen an auto gts do better than mid to high 16s even with a couple bolt ons.

GTS can beat a GT even if it is auto. all the GTS has to do is manually shift the tranny and the extra power it has will do the rest.

Johnsgt i believe is right...look at the stats of a GT and GTS...GT's are faster starting off but GTS' have more HP, thats it...and manuals with shortshifters can beat an auto but remember, an auto can keep running the same numbers unless the driver is a fuck up  where as a manual there is more room for error...end of discussion...go to stats on Toyota.com

ok i just got a strut bar and underdrive pulleys from aem and an unorthadox cam pulley, header and exhaust in the works. and im gettin edelbrock dry nitrous installed the night before she wants to race shes all stock and wants to go for slips, hehehe, i think she will fake but shes REAL ritch and jes got an old school lex so i think shes gonna throw her car away, i mean race. anyone want a 1zz-fe? im gonna get me that lotus 2zzfe 4 it

you can install nitrous in any car, its just almost allways a bad idea. fucks up all types of engines wet more than natural asp. tho, its allways a cool little edge to have. an ace in the hole if you will.

He wasnt asking whether you can run nitrous on the celica. He was asking was it possible to run a dry nitrous setup and you cant. You have to run a wet setup. Running a small shot of nitrous is fine, wont do any harm.

i'll race a auto gt's any day...hell ill race any car for that matter..i just love racing...we have a track right down the street from my house its only a 1/8th but it gets the job done and its legal...but i would still take the gt's on anyday and ive got a manual gt..hehe and dont hate on girls winning ive won a few times but i dont care about the win, i care about the time
