I must admit, a lot of women buy celicas, however, they are a serious sports car too (well, for the money at least.. way better then a civic anyhow) the thing is, women buy RSX's, Golf's, Saturn's, and all other cheap sporty cars too, and don't even get me started on civics...
even the new mustang has been designed arround a womens needs - whatever that means.. my theroy is that auto makers what to make money, and try achive as wide of an appeal as possible.. in other words, we can't win, and all cars under 30 grand are transexual - because auto makers suck
what do you all think?

Not sure if it's really "how you drive it" that tells the difference since you can't really show that when it's parked, hehe. Most girls (that I've seen at least) tend to leave it stock while most car enthusiasts mod it.
Just lowering it with springs changes the whole appearance of the car. I think mods are the main part of what changes the car's overall appearance. You can change a typical "girl" car into a sporty car (not sure about vice versa, hehe).
People are sometimes too quick to classify a car as a girl's or guy's if they see many girls driving it or many guys driving it.

man, i remember when i first came to this board there was a huge thread about celica been a girl's car. as i said 11 months ago, celica is a girl's car. i've seen more silver auto GT driven by girls than any other type of celicas...

I do see a lot of women drive Celicas. I get that, "Holy shit, look at that tint" look from them when I drive by. Women also tend to NOT modify there cars. You can tell from the amber bumper corners and "RC" antenna. Never seen a woman drive an STI, EVO, or Si. If you're worried about driving a girls car, you're too insecure. I'd only say you're driving a girlie celica if it were auto. If it were stick...it's a man's car.

I agree with the fact that girls love our car. Every day at school I park next to a friend of mine. One day, she gave another girl a ride, whose DREAM car is a Celica . She was pretty cute, but she's a Freshman or Sophomore, and I'm a Senior (which, if you're not familiar, is a kinda frowned upon age difference for high-school, but whatever). Out of 5 Celicas at my school (2 7th Gen, 2 6th Gen, 1 5th Gen) not a single girl drives one. Now Mustangs, Cavaliers, and Camaros? Most of 'em belong to girls.
