I have a shift light lying around and decided to use it. Anyway, I just need some detailed instruction on how the wiring goes. If anyway can help me with this or post me link as to where I can find some good instructions, I would really appreciate it.

I connected the red wire to the cigarette lighter. I pulled it out of the middle counsel and just spliced into it. with this your shift light will always turn on with the car starts, you dont have to worry about fliping a switch or what not. grounding is easy you should know how to do that. But for the green wire, go to the ECU and look for a brown wire with a white line on it. that is the tachameter wire so just tap into the wire and you should be good to go.

Thanks for the info guys. the only question that bothers me is how to get the wiring to the ECU unit. Do I have to remove the whole dash? I haven't taken a closer look on how to resolve coz I'm a very busy person.

I just drilled wholes for the wires to go threw the dash and mounted the shift light that way. i drilled the whole so the wires would drop threw the dash, from looking under the passenger side you should see them droping threw. Then under the driver side dash there is a plug on the fire wall. it houses a bunch of wires going threw. its kind of behind the gas pedal. i just used a clothes hanger and pooked a whole and pulled the wires threw. dont be lazy and run them on the outside, like between your door and then behind your side fender, all thats asking for is trouble. so i would deffinatly go threw the firewall. Good Luck!!! you need any more info. or do you need anything explained better just haller.
