Hey guys ... after 2.5 years of owning my Celi, and still bone stock ... I'm finally getting my Rims!! I've been looking forward to this for so long. But, now, I cant figure out which ones to get.
I have browsed for a couple of weeks all the posts regarding rims, and found some of the ones I like. I would like your guys input and hopefully I can narrow down the finalists.
My Celi is Carbon Blue
A few things to consider -I know a lot of you guys like Hyperblack, Black, Bronze on dark Celis, but I just dont like the look of it, so it will have to be Silver rims.
-My budget is $1,000 and really cannot go over that. If so, then I have to wait longer to save more money, and I kind of dont want to because my tires are BALD (still have stock tires) and I just need to get them quick.
-Rims: Most likely 17", but might get 18" if budget still allows
-I dont care if rimz is name brand or not. Most likely i will have to get knock-offs/replicas, because i cant afford really expensive wheels.
-In case someone asks ... I will be dropping my car 1.4" after I have the money to do so.
-Below are pix that I 'borrowed' from this site. I hope nobody minds I'm using their car's pics. If you guys know of any wheels that look similar go with this look, let me know.
Please give me your input :0)

pic #1 I really like how these look on this red Celi. I'm not sure how they will look on a Carbon Blue though (all the ones I have seen are Hyperblack, and I want Silver).

depends on if you like thinner spokes or not... Enkei RS-5's look good but the RH Z5000 replicas are too thin imo

Enkei RPF1 17", 15.2 lbs you can see how light this 17" racing rim is, and that looks hardcore. http://www.enkei.com/HPSpecPAGES/rpf1Specs.html
I get my kicks on EC.

I think i'm buying the Enkei RS-5 (I believe these are the ones on PIC#1 ... ). I'm thinking of getting them here ... unless someone knows cheaper place: http://www.wheelsnext.com/product.phtml?p=60517" w 205/40/17 tires for $800 18" w 225/40/18 tires for $1050 Not sure what tire brand ... i e-mailed and they said to call. Now I just have to figure out whether 17" or 18" I think for these type of rims, 18" is the best-looking. 1. What size do you think is the best (not concerned w/performance ... I really dont race/run my car hard)?? 2. If i get 18", can I drop about 1.4" without any problems? 3. Are Polished rims expensive? I think i may also go for this if I find some rims that I like. Thanks for all the feedback guys!

I just put 18" ADR kasai wheels on my celi and love them. And to answer your other question i also dropeed my car 1.3" all around with eibach pro kit and there are not problems at all. I dont have any pics yet but hopefully soon. If you dont race or care about performnace so much i would reccomend 18's becasue they look so much better, I didnt even notice that big of difference going from 16's to 18's
good luck
