The Celica has to represent in Fast and the Furious 2 and if it's not in it. It's because their scared of the power that a Celica has. No but talking serious I did hear that they were going to have a Celica in the movie. I just hope it's a dissent part and not some cheese extra in the background. However, I am sure that the MR2 and the Supra will be in the movie representing for TOYOTA.
and here is the one that was PICKED. The only Celica to get any attention from the movie folk is the ugliest Celica there...that Ultimate Celica replica. They call it "The RED Dragon"...
interesting thing about the Back2Future car... it doesn't even look like it could make it up to 80mph... it must have over 800lbs of crap on it
16" GT rim (oh, thats because it is a GT ) Standard GT exhaust piping... nothing after market The spoiler looks pointless with all that afterburner junk around it... hmm, there is no intake for the amount of outlets installed - I mean, the hood scoop is there, but it just forces air down the back of the engine the entire car even looks like stock height...
ok.. I'm looking into this too deeply - It's Saturday and I just got back from drinking the first round w/friends (yeah, drunk before 7pm - its great!)
Anyways - yeah, celica can can look good if done correctly, but this one just looks horable - I'd like the meet the guy working for Universal Studios who placed this car on display there
(I wouldn't doubt it if all that stuff was held on by MAGNETS )

It's not just your imagination... Your day really does go by twice as fast while on EverythingCelica.com
on the above shot... Red Celica with Carbon Fiber Hood (Belongs to 4b), the car is now wreck'd.
Black Celica with Graphics (Belongs to JonisBlack), all the graphics have been re-done and it looks killer now!
White Celica, Belonged to HotchikisTuning, but they sold it around the end of 2002 to a guy from Mid-USA... who personaly drove down to pick it up from Hotchkis in Southern California (Sante Fe Springs) and drove it back home a few thousand miles away
Now onto the bottom photo... CandyAppleRed Celica looks good, and was actually chosen for a part in 2F2F, but we'll see if it actually gets some film time.
Red Celica in the background, Belongs to RedDragon and was rumored to have been stolen late 2002... then in February of 2003, the custom parts started showing-up for sale on ebay (possibly by the very same guy that stole the car)
...
any ways - thats some history for you

There is also another celica that will be in the background of the movie, if it actually is in the movie when they are done editing, I dont know...they are filming it about 20 min away from me and have been closing down highways to do so. Personally the celica I have seen in person is not my cup of tea, its 1/2 bright green (same color as the eclipse in the first movie) and the other 1/2 is bright blue. I have seen it in person, and when the news was announcing the roads were being closed they were filming from a helicopter to show us what was going on, it looks like a scene where there was a bunch of cops casing after cars and that celica was in that shot.
i saw at least 2 celicas in the background in the first race scene in 2F2F. i think the first was silver and the second was black. you could see the backs of both but you can recognize the celica. if i remember correctly the black one had his trunk open and you could see part of the stereo system he had. those were the ones that i saw. im sure we can find more when the movie comes out on dvd that way we can rewind and everything else without having to pay everytime. anyways about the back to the future car . i think that says enough

i saw that celica in the movie... during the scene where all the ricers started pouring out of the garage buildings... if you look closely , not too long after the scene starts, its on the left. i think i saw a few others, but they filmed really fast so you couldn't keep you eye on it more than a few seconds.
