Not alot, but you do lose hp only becuase your car weighs more, you can lost between .1-.5 seconds because of that and more!

You won't lose horsepower, but it will make you slower

hers my idea make a system with quick connecters in it and when it comes to race day it will be easily removaable so for the daily pleaseure of listening to it you wont have to worry about how much it weaighs unless you are one of those full out street racers

respect the gt-s

1 sub and make it a big one, like a JL Audio W7!

Custom Box also saves trunk space, too.

I've never had a problem with over heating. And that car has so much Dynomat in it that nothing would ever dare to so much as squeak

haha , add a w7 ? 1 W7 in a box will weigh as much as 2 normal single voice coil 12's in a box, or course it will be amazingly louder. And you dont lose horsepower, you lose speed. According to the speed channel (so dont quote ME! on this) you lose a tenth of a second per 200lbs on or in the car in a quarter mile race.

if you are really worried about weight, do like the one post said and make wuick connects, if you have the money to spend just do a kicker L7 8" sub, they pund like crazy and the boxes are tiny, or just go balls to the wall and do total custom in the trunk, but the more custom, the more wood, the more weight
