for safety, i think it's no greater than 1/4" for the wheel spacers. i have, i think, 5/16" spacers siting on my car floor right now.
i'm waiting for my 18" rims to come in before i mount everything. then we'll see if extended wheel studs is necessary. one shop said yes, another garage said no, but we'll see...
i have been told that up to and inch is "safe" but i wouldnt see why you would need to go out that far i have a 22" mm spacer with studs for my trd brakes it sticks out a little but no crazy and it did help handleing. why do you need spacers any way
yea..im having a widebody being done...and the racinghart 0 offset rims (identical to those of the APR GT300 car) are no where near wide enough for the car. long story..bottom line...i need spacers.
i've had a lot of people speculate. Just wanna know if anyone knows for certain how 'dangerous' they are.
