Celica Forums General Discussion General Morons tried to break into my car!

Last night around 2:30, I hear my car alarm go off. So I run outside as fast as I can and check out my car... my f'ing window was broken! Some idiots were dumb enough to try to break into my car. I saw a car parked down my street, felt the hood and noticed it was still warm so I knew they were around. They even left their doors unlocked and the keys were in the ignition. We called the cops and they caught the one kid but some other kid ran off... What do people think honestly when they see a car that has money put into it? Do they think it doesnt have an alarm? And today I got my VIS invader carbon fiber hood and I can't put it on now cause I have to take my window to get fixed... at least its going to be free and thank god those kids got caught.

Man dude! You got lucky that you caught the kids. I know how you feel cause about a month ago my can got vandilized at my High School and there is over $3,000 in damage. And they never found out who did it yet

I just hope the cops aren't gonna be like... well you learned your lesson and let them go. I know they got charged with everything possible and breaking and entering is a felony. I hope they go to jail and I hope they drop the soap.

Well the one kid that got caught, went to my highschool so I can find out where he lives. The other kid that got away was dumb enough to leave his ID and mail in the car (along with the keys in the ignition) so we know where he lives so I'll be paying a visit probably tomorrow with my guy friends... I'd like to think I could take him on my own but you never know. He's gonna pay tho for sure!

But I graduated 2003 and I think that kids a senior this year. I remember having a class with him too.

If the alarm went off at 2:30, i sure as hell would have taken a bat outside, just for MY protection. If i felt that that little triangle rear window wouldn't cost much, i woulda pounded that guy's ass and totally smashed up his car w/ a bat. LOL but depending on how the guy reacts, maybe i will show mercy, cause after all, i don't know exactly how ill act. hahaha that's my wish, but i have more sense. i would have also called the cops. good job, and now beat their ass and make them pay

well the thing is if you fuck up his car. whats stopping them from waiting a couple weeks and coming back and fuck up your car worse. calling the cops is best because then if ur car is messed with they'll have a suspect

Dude - sorry to hear about your hassle, but as a sensible adult, I can say you did the right thing! As a man w/ a temper at 2:30 friggin a.m. however, I think I may have been tempted to either take their keys, OR trash their car on the spot...what were they gonna do, CALL THE PO-LICE!!
