I found some performance mods in the back of a tuner magazine I haven't really heard of that seem fairly cheep and good power claims. But since I've never heard of anyone installing these on their cars I was wondering if anyone here has seen or used or knows if they really work.

The first is an electric supercharger from
www.electricsupercharger.com [electricsupercharger.com]
they claim a 1 psi boost for 300 dollars and about 5% performance increase, but only at wot. This is pretty believable and the price is about that of a cai which gives similar performance increases. was wondering if anyone knows anything about these and if they're any good.

the second is a few sites have these fuel atomization intake swirly things that are suposed to increase fuel economy and horsepower they're only 70 dollars this one seems alittle hokeyer and i'm kinda skeptical was wondering if anyone has tried these and if they have dyno'd they're car or felt any improvements the electric supercharger also claims to have this air swirl effect when not running(only runs at wot cause it uses 800watts of power). these are found at
www.turbonator.com [turbonator.com]
and
www.spiralmax.com [spiralmax.com]

all it is is a little motorized fan that will force a small amount of air into the intake system. 1pound of boost is not very noticable. and the spool(so to speak) will not be nearly as quick.
