hey i just got a black 2002 celica gts with trd action package and trd exhaust. i have heard of all different turbo kits for the GTS, but i am not sure which one would be the best. does anyone have a turbo installed, or know anyone who does? also, are there any kits i should absolutely stay away from? let me know what you guys think!!! peace out!

maybe when people sign up they should have a disclaimer in big bold letters saying "IF YOU HAVE TURBO QUESTIONS PUT 'TURBO' IN THE SEARCH PAGE"

Whatever system you get, make sure it comes with a A'pexi Power FC, or just buy mine for $900

well, i have researched a lot of options. i basically wanted a good list of forced induction units from you guys, and maybe some feedback on personal experiences. i wasn't trying to act like a total newbie. i took the turbos you guys suggested and have been resarching them pretty hardcore. i'm really thinking about going with the C2gas stage one for my gts because it seems to have the least amount of modification on the stock setup, and it's fairly reasonable as far as price. however, i have heard bad things about greddy emanage, anyone have anything to back that up? thanks guys!

But tell than maybe alittle research.. and maybe instead of tellin us to be nice ... Maybe you should put in your comments To the Post... Including turbo info?

I'm with GT211 on this one...his response was very fair...considering he has in depth responses in another thread about turbos in this same forum that i just read. One thread about turbos was posted...another one was posted 15 hours later...and this thread was posted 3 hours after that one... New guys don't get too thread-happy...i was at first afraid to put up a post so i didn't get blasted for being an idiot...so i browsed around a little bit first...which i still do. This forum has a LOT of information on it if you spend 10 minutes to look for it...and if you can't find it 99% of the time somebody knows something helpful.

hey guys stop fighting in the thread!! We should provide newbies the information we know and also tell them to search in this site, not just blame him as dumb because he don't do searching.

SF potentially good, but at this point you may not get your kit ever, whether you pay in advance or not.
I get my kicks on EC.

SF as I stated Is Having ALOT of problems.. ALOT. He is tryin to get his act together. But at this point I would count out SF as a turbo Kit provider.. CelicaTRDgts - I didn't mean to fight back.. I was tired and cranky.. God it was like IMS. I just thought I'd explain where I was coming from

I think one person on here is trying to give SF a bad name. Just to clear things up, his kits aren't having any problems. His kits are awesome kits and awesome quality. I am living proof with my dynos and times at the track. I haven't had any single problems with the kit since ive installed it and the car runs perfectly like stock as far as reliability. However, the customer service is quite lacking. I will be the first to admit, hes almost impossible to get a hold of, and hes backed up on past orders. Dont expect to be able to call and get questions answered or have him walk you through things. Also dont expect to order now and get your kit right away as there is a good number people still waiting for theirs. Having said that, he is working on changing his business habits, and working on his customer service and getting caught up on orders. Hopefully by next year he will be caught up and be able to ship kits upon ordering. Just wanted to clear things up, kit = awesome customer sevice = needs work
