Is it even possible to pull wheelies in automatic RWD cars? My friend says it is, but i just don't see how it could ever work.

I dont see why not if it has enough horsepower/torque.

Yes, it is.

You need some heavy-duty traction, but I've seen some heavily-modded Camaros pullin' wheelies.

In a stock car, it's not possible.

I can't find the video but I saw a drag race between a supra and mustang and the mustang did a pretty long wheelie. Maybe a full second. it's all in the torque thumbsup

You know if you put your frt wheel drive in reverse you can also do a wheelie.

But I dont understand...would you just stomp the gas? Neutral bomb? Hold brake, floor, and let go?

Yeah. Advice would be cool.

hell ya... theres a drag class thats auto, and they can get there wheels off the ground

its all about where the weight is distrubuited...

if its really heavy in the rear and has enough torque hell you can get it off the ground with an auto...

I wouldn't say all. A great combo is the two speed power glide-manual. Then theres 350 turbo auto which is a three speed.

Poppon the front tires off the ground is actually a loss in quarter mile time if you think about it so I guess you could say that doin wheelies looks cool but is a disadvantage if you need to run faster down the track

my other, and first car, a 1985 ElCamino that me and my dad dropped a 454 bigblock into with hooker headers and MSD iginition, bored 60 over with a crane cam, i can get it almost off and it it's running just street radials and a 87 camero rear end, but thats a hella lot of power and it wants to go straight, if i was at the track though with some really sticky slicks im sure it would do better.
