If I get Eibach Sportline Springs, do I really need camber at the front and rear or just the rear only ? It a 1.8 drop at the front and 2.4 drop at the rear.

well with that drop you're going to get some pretty negative camber in the rear, it's really up to you if you want to correct it. your rear tires will wear unevenly but it might be better for cornering(depending on how your car behaves).

I would definately recomend camber for the front and rear. With a low drop on a celica the rear has INSANE negative camber...and the front somehow gets positive camber.

how do you fix the camber, do you take it to a shop and they adjust it?

Some guy told me, we cant put camber at the front. At the rear I will get some hotchkis camber but I dont know about the front.

i have 2.25 in front and 2.5 in front and I barely need camber adjustment. but every car can be different

whoever does your alignment after you drop should be able to tell you if you need the links or not. i know one guy that has his car dropped at least 2", and hes never had a problem.

Im going to take to a shop to drop it. I have TRD spring but I want it lower with 18 inch. I just want to know if I really need camber. I might just keep car my after all

I have eibach sportlines in my car. YOu don't need a camber kit for it. Just a good alignment shop. No uneven tire wear for me for over a year now. Shop was able to adjust it to normal specs.

...could you use the hotchkis camber links w/ the tein basic damper coilover system?... ..r does tein have the camber links too??????????

I have the eibach prokit springs and my rear camber is pretty bad for just a 1.2" drop and if ur getting the sportlines it will prolly be double what mine is so you will at least need the rear fixed, but the front prolly wont be to bad but should be on you list to fix.

I got the H&R's because I was too scared to get the sportlines - I think I got about 1.8 drop in the front, 2.0 in the rear, and no camber problems at all - and, they're a bit cheaper then the sportlines. I don't have any problems with clearance either..

Camber doesn't affect your tire wear, it's the toe in or out that determines your tire's lifespan.

when I got my springs put on (again I got the H&R's) the rear wheel camber looked pretty bad - so I took it back to the shop. It turns out the guy who did the intsall races, and was telling me that my tires allowed for .9 degrees of tilt, so thats what he set them at because it will improve the handleing. I told him to straighten them out so my tires wear more evenly - he couldn't quite get it back to 0 degrees, but close enough

What? how could screwed up camber not destroy the inside edge of your tire - watch a formula1 race, and you can see the tires bald on the inside edges.. please advise if Im incorrect

i've had my sportlines on for about 1/2 a year and i have no camber issues with stock camber links...

how much is a camber kit??

they run about 250 thats why I got prokit springs so I didn't need a kit.
