Ok, wish me luck Blitz is looking in to making the Supercharger work for my 2004 Celica.

The only question will be the DBW. Sure hope they can work out the details it will increase horsepower by 50 direct to the wheels not the flywheel like most. So they say it feels more like an 80 HP increase. It also has a switch which you can change from 25-50-75, depending where you want to feel it kick in when you press the pedal. Mine will be stuck on 25 for sure happywink.

God I hope this works tasty

Thanks everyone for the encouragement. They are working on getting passed the DBW issue. They said we should know by the end of the week. I'll keep you posted!

It'll be interesting to see what they're trying to get around it. They must be searching for a different management system than what they normally use. If it actually happens, I wish you luck.

I'm curious what the cost would be.

Not cheap 7000 installed plus shipping, now I'm just not sure if I want to screw with the warranty. Grrrrrr, well I guess I'll just see if they can do it first.

yup yup, your warranty will be going down to the drains. i know you talked about this before, but take the price of your car and add 7K, you'll get yourself a much better and faster car...i don't know, that's my 2cent...

See, this is what I don't get...

Everyone always says "oh, I'd get a turbocharger or supercharger, except it will void my warranty".

Think about it. If you can afford to drop $5000-$7000 on the install, why are you worried about warranty repairs? I mean, it's not like you're too likely to have a $5k warranty claim. spineyes

^^^It could be that they save little by little every month. It doesnt mean they are filthy rich because they drop $5k plus in a engine at once.

Thats great, i hope they find a solution for you. My best guess is they are trying another engine management system. I hope they give you a full standalone for that price though, not a piggy back. However i do have to play the devils advocate, thats exactly why most people say its not worth it. After all the little accesories and everything is said and done, your looking at like 9k for 50 whp. Not to be mean but that is a little ridiculous. For that much money you can have an awesome turbo kit, a fully built engine, and a stronger tranny, capable of boosting whatever your heart desires and easily making upwards of 350 whp.
