i checked all the posts for it but none of them have what im talking about. ever since i put my intake on, i hear a squeaking noise coming from where my pulleys and cam gears are at. im not sure if it was a good idea to do this but i put some of that non sqeaking lubercant on it. it went away but it comes back after a while. its really noticeable when i first start the car up in the morning or anytime i do a cold start w/out letting it warm up. any suggestions on what i should do? thanks confused

Have you tried tightening your belts, I was having the same problem a few weeks ago, I tightened the alternator a bit and now its quiet. Hopefully its just loose belts and not fucked up tensioners.

there's a post about the squeaking about once a week. BlueBomber usually tells people it's the tensioner that goes bad pretty much on everyone's Celica then causing uneven wear on the stock belt causing it to squeak. Then he recommends just getting the Goodyear Gatorback belt that doesn't squeak even if you have a bad tensioner.

I get my kicks on EC.
