Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior Gauge Bezel

Finally after a month and the body shop loosing it I received my painted gauge bezel. It turned out great, it matches perfect with the exterior. It was also wet sanded and polished to have the same mirror like reflection as the exterior does. I only had my phone with me at the time so the pix sucks, Ill have better one in the next day or so.

I brought the shop pizza the last three days I was there, so the painter said that he would do the center console, from to to bottom, free of charge. I really want to, im just not sure if it would be too much red. what do ya think?

the only other thing im worried about is the glare it might have. The bezel is so reflective right now im afraid if I had the whole C/C done I might be blinded

A little too bright for my taste, but it matches real well from the looks of it. Good job! As for the center console...I think it might be too much red since I think it's too red, but it is totally up to you!

looks good...paint the rest of the interior plastics to match...then your interior will really pop

paint your CC red too. you wont be blinded by the glare, the only problem about the gauge bezel having a mirror coat finish is that you wont be able to see your instruments on a sunny day.

Looks great. Red center would not be too much red. Now that one widebody Celica that painted his whole interior red was too much red.

Looks good I would like the whole thing red but its personal preference.
