Visracing has built a carbon fiber trunk for celica.
Has anybody installed it? Even on their site there isn't any picture...
What do you think about it? I love carbon fiber,but I'd like to know something more about it...

ebay has them for $418 but no celica pictures just a bunch of other car pictures-that sux

someone on the board has it. its a white celica with a Carbon Fiber trunk.

at hot import nights in chicago this last summer there was a black or carbon blue with one. changed out the winshield to lexan glass. he said his regular winshield was too heavy.

Almost all weight reduction will be
reduced primarly through the lexan glass.
So if your doing this for show purposes, good
but i wouldnt recomend it for weight reduction.
And this was covered months ago and if you
search there is a pic of the celica with the
Carbon Fiber Hatch. However it dosent come w. the hatch
Handle so you will either have no hatch handle,
use your oem hatch handle which dosent look
good. i would recomend buying a Carbon Fiber Hatch Handle.

i have a carbon fiber hatch on..i put the stock glass on cause the people hear said that the lexan glass is straight and the way my glass is that its a little curved so they didnt recomend it..its hard to find hookups in hawaii..i will take pics soon because i just installed in last week...the thing is that i dont know how to post it up..ill ask my girl..soon i hope ill get it up

i ordered the carbon fiber trunk quite a while ago. first it was on back order, then when it came it had a crack in it. so, we had to ship it back. my new one is supposed to be here again like next week or something.
price from vis i think was like $425.
sucks, i got that on back order now, new rims are due in this week, flush mount hoodpins are on back order, can't put my spoiler on 'til my trunk comes back in...
my vis hood fit perfectly, so i am assuming that the same quality will be taken in with the trunk (as long as it isn't damaged by shipping).
808 how much did that lexan set you back? from my shop i think they were saying that it was like $600 or something.

nahh i dont got the lexan glass on it..i put the stock glass back on cause the people hear didnt recomend the lexan glass to me..plus i save a lot of money cause to remove my glass on my stock trunk and put it on my carbon trunk was about 100 bucks
