i was wondering, since i use to have a 90 celica GT...what is the diffrence between the gt and gts 5th gen models besides the body. wat is difference engine wise??

The GT is way better...hate that damn GTS long back it has. Not sure what the engine difference is between the two, but i thought id get that off my chest. Now if your looking to go that style celica, go with the All-Track Turbo wich has the 3SGT engine. The MR-2 Turbo has that same engine. Very nice and fast car.

5th gen gt and gts has same exact engine. gts is a lil heavier though.

The GT has about 130-135 HP coming out of the powerplant and the GTS has a different cam. The cam is slightly moded to put out a whoping 10-15 more HP. And since the GTS is heavier, the GT wins every time (stock to stock that is).

yup same motor different tuning from stock to give it a little more pwr. kinda like the 6gen celica ST and the STX same motor different options.

anyone go the specs for the 2?

5th gen gts murders a 5th gen gt...NO contest what so ever!! I have NEVER lost to a gt in my gts even if the gt is suped up. I loooooove my gts
