Ok, some of you might remember I had this problem a while ago and it still haunts me...
When I turn up my system pretty loud, after about 1 min on that level the tweeters cut out, and as far as I know this is a safety feature in most high end components to protect the tweeters from popping..
Honestly, im not playing it thaaaat loud that I feel the protection should kick in.. I consider myself a audiophile and I know when too loud is too loud...
I checked my wiring, rewired in out of phase/in phase, messed with hi/low by passes on both amp and headunit...
I just dont get it
, I bought these damm components so I could enjoy clear sound at a decent volume and all I get is one frekin minute of it...
anyone dealt with this, any suggestions, besides, upgrading, or rewiring my whole dam car AGAIN
oh btw I have MB QUART components and nothing else cuts out in the car, except for the tweets
one note ** I know the power cable Im current using for my amps is too small of an AWG , but would that cause the tweets to be overheating ??? I doubt it
