I was on my way to see my mom in Minnesota for Thanksgiving Wed. night at about 11:00pm. And just around a blind side curve on the HWY there he was.. It was as if he was waiting for me in spacific. I was doin about 90 mph in a 65 mph speed Zone... I didn't even let him come to chase me. I pulled over immediately. I didn't even give him a chance to turn on his lights. Anywayz, He gets out of the car and came over to my window so I rolled the window down. I had everything (all my papers) ready for him. AFTER 30 min. LATER, he comes back and tells me that my liscence was suspended for reasons unknown, he asked me if I knew what it was.. I also had no idea. "Long story short" after 1hr 1/2 later, My GIRLFRIEND ended up having to drive the rest of the way and I had 2 tickets total " $410.30 "... angry angry angry angry angry There is not enough faces to explain my feelings on this. bs bs I have it in me to blow something up right now.

That stinks. Did you know your license was suspended? If you did, and you drove 90 mph while on a suspended license, what were you thinking?

Oh please. 410$ for 2 tickets is nothing. Be glad you don't live in jersey. I have to pay 383$ on ONE ticket, not even speeding, just for driving in a high occupancy vehicle lane(gotta have more than 2 people in the car).

It's stupid, but carpool lane violations are always more than standard moving violations.

Thats true... Thats the reason why I said that I hate the LAW, Not tha cops, they're just doing their job. I hate tha law because I don't see why I can't go as fast as I want to whenever I am on an empty HWY. U feel me? idunno

I'd say it looks like the law pretty much fucking hates you too.

That being said...what seems to be people's compulsion to drive almost 100mph????? Do you find you get better mileage that way? or, like what? Driving so fast to get somewhere sooner and then completely offsetting that by stopping at like fucking TacoBell for 45 minutes and I know y'all do so save yourself some money huh?

I was only driving fast just to shave about an hour off of the HWY time. The first time I drove there to Minnesota, I was going the speed limit most of the way. the second trip I drove like 120mph and it took 2hrs off the drive. this is mt third time taking this trip, what do you think i was going to do?

it's a good thing you didn't flip... or comes to a broken down vehicle on the road, or drive over road debris.

it's also a good thing that there was no wind or dips or construction where metal plates were used.

please drive safely - it would suck to loose someone to the Darwin law rolleyes

ca cops are like that, if your going that fast, most won't waiste the energy to stop you. I do about 120 down the 91 once or twice a week, never once got pulled over.

Dam bro, I know exactly how you feel. On the same night around 10:30 p.m. I was racing with a volkswagon golf. And as I pass him a couple 100 yards later, I didn't see the cop driving in the right lane until it was too late. He pulled me over. And just like you I had my papers ready. 15 minustes later. He gave me a citation to go to court for going 110 mph. I think I'm going to get my license suspended. So, I feel you bro. This just ruin my long weekend. But I felt a little better reading your post, knowing I'm not the only one that got fucked. spineyes

it must me a laser detector pointed at you that's why it didn't alert. My buddy had his car laser pointed and his passport 8500 when crazy for a split second. He tought it was just a frequency bouncing off but next thing he knew it was a sheriff behind him. rofl becareful on the express ways next time radar detectors aren't usually effective since highway patrols are equipped with laser detectors...

some shitty radar detectors don't and most do. but then again the once that do have cost pretty much expensive. the only radar detector i realy is my escort passport 8500 which is equipped with radar and laser detector. However, the signal of a laser compare to radar are very much different. laser is much more narrower compare to radar. that's why laser gun just point on a particular car and click then it reads you speed. Yes the alarm will go off but by the time it does the patrol car most likely got your speed and chansing you down the road.. grin

In chicago, sheriff most like hide along ramps, bridges and blind curves. that's why when I came along 1 while speeding i usually slow down.
