im gonna get a GT and since it comes with only 140 hp im wondering what i can do to kick it up to at most 200 hp besides for CAI, exhaust and pully mods without going for a turbocharger system.

sorry to say that you probably won't get 60 N/A bhp on a GT. The aftermarket support just isn't there for a Celica.

you need turbo to get over 200. I would think you would need a turbo just to get to 200 for a GT. Going off of what Isaac has in the store, you can only get I/H/E and a pulley system for a GT and that surely won't give you the 60 bhp you're looking for. You could take the hit and buy a RSX Base. The performance aftermarket is there and over 200 bhp can be easily reached with the right amount of money.

werd you probably wont be able to get that 200hp you want without turbo, S/C, or Nitros.

Maybe with some serious (pricey) internals, plus bolt ons + tuning you might be able to get a little closer to 200 hp.
The work might cost more than your car did though!

Custom cams, exhaust and header, high comp. pistons, light flyeheel, light rods, port and polish, bigger valves stand alone or piggy type ECU and a PROFESSIONAL who knows all the small details, and you may reach 200 hp. I started that way ( I reached around 175hp) but it's more expensive and difficult than turnocharging the car. Also it's more work. And you can easily make more hp with the turbo later.

Say hello to my little friend: Nitrous Oxide. The best and cheapest way to get you there. Go for it your celi should handle a 35 to 50 shot just fine. I have a zen wet kit. My only problem is no one in my area wants to install it. They all saw my engine and said man I dont know I can try. None of this I can try crap. Im still looking for a pro whos willing to install and back up his work.

i would get headers but if i decide to go turbo wouldnt it be a waste of money? cos i heard that you dont need a aftermarket header when you get a turbo system.
