slvceli- I had to adj my bp valve too, when first installed it was running the same numbers too, thats where most of the tuning money went. We first thought that the piggy needed to be tweeked but it ended up being the valve. If you think the response is great now wait till the boost is set correctly. thumbsup

Thats awesome. As one of those Auto owners im glad to see someone boosting their gt. Should think about a high stall torque converter, your going to need that.

How did you adjust it? I am planning on doing it tonight. Any info would be very helpful.

Please let mwr do it, while on the dyno. I dont think youll run into any problems being your running rich to begin wiith. but the valve needs to adj by someone eho knows what their doing, too much will cause problems you dont even wanna deal with.

I installed the s/c about 6 months ago and had nothing but fuel problems the entire time. Needless to say it was on the car for about 3 weeks and then came off

That would actually be very useful with the added torque but I dont really have a need for it. I dont race the car and to my understanding it only allows you to brake torque to higher rpms. Not very useful for everyday purposes.

yeah yeah back to the subject. Apparently the price for the supercharger went up to 1650 shipped from Eddie. trdparts4u.com has the supercharger and ecu listed at 1799 so im not sure what the price would be without the ecu from them.

Yeah lol. Its not perfect but to get it to even somewhat fit you have to cut a lot of it.

I am gonna go back up to MWR to see if the bypass is wworking correctly and if it is get it retuned. I will probably head up to the track sometime after that but I think the track is already closed for the winter.

SLVCELI,
Your engine looks great, but what is keeping your engine cover from sitting flat? You already cut it to fit didn't you? Is it still hitting the SC?

At the bottom right of the valve cover you can see that there is a really big hose going toward the cover among other hoses. If I want it to sit completely down I would have to cut into that rectangular area on the cover at the very least and I would just rather leave it the way it is.

How about a spacer to lift the other side up? You have to do something. With that SC, everybody is going to want to see it. You can't have a croocked engine cover.
I think I'm going to have trouble with mine too. My car is about to come out of the shop with the turbo and a custom intake manifold. The shop said they would make sure my engine cover will still fit, but I'm still worried because I paid a lot of money to have my plastic engine cover chromed. Can't really cut it anymore.

Lol. I dont think it looks that bad. I could probably get a spacer for it whenever I get some time. I wasnt too concerned about showing it off or anything so its all good thumbsup How much did it cost for the chrome? I didnt apply the paint to mine the way I should have so whenever I go get my oil changed I know its gonna get all screwed up.

It was $275, but don't go to that company if you have it done. They have had my cover for over a year and won't return my calls or emails. I'll have to make a trip up there when I get back to the states. I was looking for somebody on here that lives in Dallas that I could pay to pick it up for me and send it to me. Haven't found anybody that will do it though.

I went back up to MWR to get a retune and a check up on the bypass valve problem. Matt checked out the bypass valve and also hooked up some new hoses and now we are at 8 psi which is where the supercharger should be. With just the trd exhaust I made 111 whp and now with the trd exhaust and trd supercharger I am making 153 whp. I started with 98 lb-ft of torque with just the trd exhaust and ended up with 129 lb-ft of torque with the exhaust and supercharger. That is almost 200 horsepower to the crank and about 165 lb-ft of torque to the crank. The new dyno is up near the top. The passing power and highway driving is much much better. For example, before when I would push the car from a stop it was very fast but if I would go slow until it changed to second gear and then slightly pushed it, it wouldnt get up and go as much. Now it just gets up and goes. I am very impressed. Here is the new dyno [Linked Image from img.photobucket.com]

Yeah it feels a lot better but I havent had a chance to test it out fully since its snowing here. I plan on going to the track once it opens back up again. Even on the dry roads it is hard to get traction if I am pushing it so I am not sure if that will be a problem. I will just be happy if I get high 15's since before the supercharger I got 17.5's grin

well your tq curve seems to gradually dip but the hp seems to climb steadily. i mean you got 40 more whp and 30lbs more of tq...that's a pretty huge difference.

maybe an lsd soon to gain traction?
