Any additional information: Took out and re-installed with same effect...I have one vaccuum line with no where to go...

Any additional information: It was a loose hose. Just needed a hose clamp for it. Problem solved.

Any additional information: Got a CEL after showing the intake to my sister in the rain. the cel was on imediately after for about 3 hours then went away. Think something under the hood got wet and then when it dried CEL left, but coulda been related to intake.(plugged extra butterfly valve vacuum line as well as reconnected the butterfly valve sensor switch thingy and plugs the 3 lines coming out of it)(you only need the large tube)

BTW you guys do plug up the extra hose/tube thing, right?

i don't think you really need a CAI here in alaska
cause the air is cold already.

Its also why I think the TPR intake is something worth waiting for. I gotta hand it to Chris for being the only person I know to develop a 7th Gen Celica induction system that increases performance without compromising the overall reliability and integrity of the engine.

In my opinion Celica intakes that utilize pipe sizes larger than 2.5 with the stock ECU tend to run the engine lean throughout most of the power band, only to level out at certain RPM ranges, it is a small enough degree that the stock ECU is able to compensate for most of the time, but an extended lean condition non the less. This is not a good state to run in for long periods of time if you are at all concerned about engine longevity.

Just my $0.02, others may disagree.

just installed 4 hours ago
noticeable gains and sound great when you stay in your gear til about 6rpm then upshift into second, deep gargling sound from there on out. I highly recommend AEM cai.
If you haven't installed one and are looking to go ahead and ask me some questions! the online tutorials completely blow and skip over some major key points in the installation but AEM does provide a pretty good installation guide, only down side was that if you know little about an intake system it gets hard because they use all the terms, then abbreviate them.
its a great project though and when i heard the car turn-over, it was a great feeling!!!

Any additional information: The only CEL I get is from my MAF sensor, which I had problems with before Installed my CAI.

Any additional information:
On the 2005 GTS, the vacuum line attached to the intake manifold should not be capped off. That line should run to the butterfly switch. Fixed this and the CEL went away.
