Should I reset my ecu after installing my new borla exhaust system? I have to break in the exhaust so would it be better to reset? or just leave it?

take out a fuse in the engine compartment. It's easier to do than disconnecting the battery https://celicahobby.com/ubbthreads/thread.f_1870213935_0_collapsed_2__1.html

Resetting the ecu requires to diconnect the battery for a few seconds like 30sec-1min, but the longer the time the more likely it is resetted so you can wait 10mins.
And an exhaust doesn't need to be "broken" in, breaking in is mainly for mechanical parts that actually move like clutches and pistons, etc. During the breaking period a new part is normally driven to give it time to wear and conform with the parts that are already in the car, that way there is an even wear pattern on the parts so theres no slipping or warping. Most breaking in periods are about 500 easy/street driven miles, does not count highway miles.

an exhaust doesnt need to be "broken in" per say but give it a couple days and the sound will get better!

I just got it! Installed it and the sound seems pretty quiet right now. Hope it gets better over time.
Here's the sound clip of Borla catback that I installed
