hey guys. Here is my problem. I have a 2001 celica gt with the stock 15" rims it comes with and 195/60/15 tires. I have it dropped with the Tanabe df210 springs, which is 2" drop i beleive..some people claim it to be even more. I wanted to get a veilside or bomex kit but am afriad it would be laying on the gound. I don't really know how lower it sits than the stock bumpers. Can some of you tell me how lower it sits? I can drive a real low car where i live but some people told me that it would be laying pretty much on the ground. I see some people on the site who does have teh veilside but always have bigger rims. please help me ASAP. Thanks.

i have the kit, it's not really a lot lower than the stock; the only thing is it kind of feels longer than the front bumper so if you hit large dips that why you'll scrap (cuz of the angle it's being approached at) with a 2" drop you might want to look at getting larger rims maybe 17 or 18...i got the 1.5" for my car, but i'm waiting to put in my rims b4 i install my springs...i'll post pix of that if you still haven't decided by the time i finish...oh btw i have pix of my kit with stock height and stock 16" gts rims, not too much help but i got a cuple of different angles

I perfer the look of the veilside... I thinks the front of the bomex kit looks funny without any openings, but that's just me.

bomex; and it only hangs about an and inch and three quarters lower in the front. as for the rear, i'd say a good three and a half inches lower.

Id go with bomex. thats what I was planning on. Everyone has got VS2, go with bomex. Or if you like bomex that much, I just saw in the other thread the new C-One kit. Check that out too!

I have the bomex on stock suspension/wheels and I scrape on everything around here. any kind of dip and you can kiss the front goodbye if youre lowered. I drive pretty careful and I still managed to crack the front already. with my 15"s on it's lower then my girls civic that has a 2.25" inch drop.
get bigger rims and a smaller drop you should do ok.

no stock rims like in the picture are 16". my drag tires are 15" rota subzero's with 205/50/15 bfg dr's. so it drops the front end by like 4.7%
