My car is stock pretty much. No kit, stock 15's, but it is lowered with tein s.techs. I was wondering what you guys would think about me taking off my stock spoiler? Do you think it would look good? I've never seen a stock celi with stock spoiler removed, so I'm not sure how it would look. Also, if I do decide to do it, is it hard? How do I do it? Thanks!

If it's all stock I don't think it will look too amazing. Plus you'll have holes you'd need to cover up from where the spoiler was drilled.

I'm wingless and I like it. Others have their opinions as well. It's really up to you. There's four screws to take off under the trunk cover, which snaps right off after removing the screw on the "little handle" it has.

u can only pull if off if you have newer wheels and a big drop otherwise it wont look good, but taking off the spoiler is very easy all you do its remove the plastic panal that is in the hatch by unscrewing the screw in the handle part and then give hte plastic a nice yank, then there are 4 10mm bolts that you need to unbolt very easy just be careful not to drop them, but you shouldn't if your careful.. then all you do is pull off the spoiler and your done

doesn't matter if you have the spoiler on or not.. it will still be a celica... look at one with spoiler and one without spoiler.. c which one you like best then go for it.

I don't know why but wing and wingless is like two different cars for me. I hate the wingless celica's but the ones that have spoilers I love.
But it all depends on personal taste

i took my wing off, i think it looks waaay better without the wing. the body style is really sleek and smooth, and the wing kinda throws it off i think

I think it would look pretty good with really big wheels a drop and no wing kinda like a 350z alittle. I don't really like celica stock wing that much. it looks kinda plain. I have the TRD west wing spoiler and I love it. It's a bit huge for some peoples taste but it's one of maybe 4 or 5 spoilers I think look good on the car. The car stock without the wing looks pretty plain too but with the right appearance mods it'd look pretty tight. Very streamline.
PS wings do do a lot for cars.. take the mitsu lancer evo. looks pretty aggressive with that huge wing. take it off and you realize your mom's ford taurus is sexier.

You need a body kit to pull off the wingless look.

Nicely done! hehe Wings mean everything for the car. At least that's what I think
Anyways do any of you know if the TRD or TRD style wings will fit on the holes from the regular spoilers? Or do I have to drill new holes?

I dig the Celicas without wings. Before people flame me, I'm not saying our Celica is quite the same thing as a Ferrari, but the point is that you don't see wings on most Ferraris. If they can get by without it, so can I. Also, the STOCK Celica spoiler is nothing more than cosmetic. It has no laminar flow and no proper angle of attack, so I'd be amazed if it produced any downforce whatsoever. All it produces is drag. Oh, and a nifty $400 invoice cost that you don't even get to vote on, because its an option that really isn't optional.
ANYWAY, the question for all of you who went wingless - How did you cover the holes, and more importantly, what do you guys do with those stupid nubs that stick up Did you leave them, or go the whole nine yards by taking it to a body shop?
