Nope stickiest tires are TOYO proxes RA-1's but in order to work there needs to be some serious negative camber on your car (2.5-4 i believe) but once on they are on your handling becomes insane. drove a buddies miata up gmr with them and those are the ones i'm gonna get after i go through my kumho 712

^^thats the approach im thinking of taking, but as soon as the rims n tires are on the car, im hittin up the twisties, so i dont want crap tires on my car. i've already spun out once..i dont plan on doing it again.

I wish i had shitty tires on my car now so that i could burn out all day and then justify getting some new tires..and THEN play on the twisties

i got fuzion zri's and i love them they're a relatively new tire by bridgestone..but made under they're own brand to compete with japanese tires such as toyos and yokos. they're also pretty cheap. there's a review for them in the reviews forum

Kuhmo's suck. They really do. I don't know how so many people have them or say they are good? I'm only guessing a cheap fix from Wheels Next, or Wheels Express, bunch of inexperienced drivers, or some salesman hooked someone up and it spread like wild fire. Toyo Proxies RA-1 are super great, but I will never drive with them on the streets unless: 1: It isn't cold and not below freezing 2: It isn't raining cats and dogs (on the streets remember) 3: I have money to spare to buy new ones after a couple thousand miles of use because you will want to carve up every turn at Ramming Speed and if you don't you are a fool for buying them because they will be gone in no time anyway.
The RA are for dedicated track users. There are plenty of tires better than Kuhmo and there are plenty of tires that are better in the Kuhmo range. Some have already been said.

well I'd rather be here than gone or driving rather than flying (over a canyon) so I'd opt for Toyo Proxes RA-1 if I were him. If I were me and I guess I am, I would have RA-1's and I do have them. btw they work great in wet and I have PLENTY of tread left after 5k miles despite me taking turns like a maniac. And I'm more than willing to change my tires twice a year if I have to for performance. I think they last longer than people think b/c instead of slipping like other tires they grip.
I get my kicks on EC.
