looks cool.. what do you use so you don't paint the part that glows through.. seems like it'd be a pain to tape.

lookes like you missed some steps. Should have put down a couple primer coats of paint and then done some fine grit polishing with sandpaper. Then i would have used Krylon Fusion Paint. 7-12 light coats. Then 4-6 coats of clear. Then Wetsand or Polish rag the final product till glassy smooth.

yea the AC things are vinyls from N Celica. I 1st painted the climate control piece and it turned out horrible due to bad paint. I tried taking the short cut and used polyurethane paint striper "bad idea". Ate the whole damn thing. so I patched things up w/ body filler and wood filler and put like 10-30 layers of cheap spray paint "short cut". well after it dried it was soft and by that time my frustration level was at max and I just wanted to get the project over w/. I may sometime in the future get it pro painted. and FUSION PAINT IS AMAZING

Looks nice, even with the DIY paintjob. Shiny! Don't you have to primer before you paint? Help the paint stick better to the plastic. Then clear coat it so it looks more like a professional paintjob. Excellent work with the fiberglass.

Very nice work. If this guy would have just done the 2 gauges instead of 11, in probably would have looked a little better.

I painted my mouse for the ocmputer. did 3 light coats then 1 heaveir coat, then i held the car really close and did a really havey coat. it came out nice and glossy w/o orange peal look.

Dude just sand it some more. It should be very easy to paint. Especially where it is so small. Just remember the more coats the better!
