here is my new sv1000s, I sold my 650 to my friend. I just bought the lower fairing from suzuki, i will get a pic up tonight or tomorrow when i get it on.

Sv's are nice bikes, especially when you get full-fairings for them.

just wondering how do you feel the 1000 compared to the 650??

tight bike im trying to get on in the summer of 06. its gonna be a ninja 250.

I had a 650 before the 1000, you wouldnt believe the difference, its like there are 2 motors under you. Wait till you ride one, you will see, they are heavier though, and much taller

come spring i'll be getting an r1 (hopefully) but nice bike how is the liter bikes ? any proplem with handaling

i jsut like the feeling that there is nothing on the road that is faster

mines isnt a true liter bike because its a v-twin, it has the load of torque like an r1, if not more, but it isnt 150+ hp. Ive ridden an 03 r1, i tell you what its a freak show on wheels. It handles like nothing ive ever ridden, not to mention lighter than my bike. They are death traps, you dont do 10 over, or even 20 over, you double and triple speed limits constantly. If youve never had a bike before, dont get a liter. If you have to have a 4 cyl. bike, a 600 and a 750 are more than enough, not to mention lighter and corner better. But if you have to have a liter bike, id really recommend an sv1000, or even a rc51 honda, they are way more forgiving than a super bike, not to mention the insurence is a fourth the price

nice bike! I wish it was spring so I could get mine out.

Its has a titainium m4 2 into 1 system, i bought it with that on there, then the previous owner replaced the left passenger footpeg with one from a sv650 to eliminate the exhaust bracket. I guess its like 10-15 pounds lighter with one can. not sure though, it also has a hydraulic clutch, as you can see in the pic

yea i started with a i4 600 i was looking at a cbr 954 or a gixxer750 if i could find a deal but then i saw the r1 and fell in love

a zx10 there kinda overated imo i don't like the styling but i also know people that don't like the r1's styling lol but being the good ol liter bike you'll be sure to kill nearly everything out there possably yourself if your not careful
