I might be getting the "invader" style carbon fiber hood by the company known as Seibon. I have only heard of them once and that was when I saw a picture. So other than that I don't know anything else. What is the quality, fitment? How does it compare with VIS? Help me out. Thanks

I don't have pics for it. My cousin is my vendor and he lives out in southern cali and he told me that Seibon has the invader hood. I was originally going to get the VIS hood but the company over in southern cali have been out of stock for about a month so I just went with these.

I've got one of those sitting in my living room, waiting for the rest of the parts for the car to arrive so I can start to modify the sum'bitch.

Not having mounted it yet, I can't tell you anything about fitment. But what I can tell you is that the hood LOOKS awesome. I havn't found one single mask in the carbon that's out of place. And the frame underneath the hood seems to be of good quality aswell. My dad's got a VIS RACING Carbon Fiber hood, and the seibon hood just looks miles better.

So which hood do you have?

(If you still don't get it, it's the seibon invader style carbon fiber hood for the celica smile)

Oh damn. My bad, I wasn't even paying attention. For some reason when I looked at the picture the second scoop that comes up from the top looks smaller. Is there any difference from it and the VIS version? I don't know the pic to me looks like something is wrong with it.
