i've had 17's on my car...never rubbed if that's what you'r worried about. the car will handle a little better because usually bigger tires are also wider, thus more rubber on the ground. turning will be stiffer because of that too. the car might seem a little slower, because it will now have bigger wheels on it and therefore have farther to turn the wheel. your speedometer might be a little off on the slow side also. no worries tho 17" rims look the best on celis IMO wave

the tire size matters more than the rim size. You want to try to keep the same outside diameter. 215 40 R17 is really close to stock size. I think if your spedo says 60mph, then you're actually doing 58.6mph. Better the err a bit on the slow side, in my opinion.

With that size of tire, the ride will be a bit rougher, and you should try to not hit big potholes etc. but they will definately fit.

That or 215/45/17 to fill up the wheel well area if your not lowered. But make sure you get hubcentric rings and a good balance or else your steering wheel will shake.

215/45/17
pros
-will be closer to stock settings
-can be put on at any place
cons
-might bend a rim with a big pothole

215/45/17
pros
-looks better
-might help with potholes
cons
-not every place will put them on (costco for example) , almost any other place will though
-speedo off a little more.

Those are the two I would get. I have 215/45/17 and like em'

I would definetly go with the 215/45/17, I have those on mine and it is lowered and I have had no problems once so ever. They should look real good.
