Any carbon fiber experts here? How can I determine which carbon fiber manufacturers have the best product(s).

I guess what I am asking is - Is carbon fiber carbon fiber or are there other factors to consider.

I know the obvious like:

-are the edges smooth
-does the part fit properly
-does the manufacturer obtain factory parts for each make model year when creating their parts
-What type of Kevlar weave is used

but there must be more to know about comparing carbon fiber products.

Any insight is much appreciated.

Im not carbon fiber expert but I know that you can make the carbon fiber product either the 'wet' way or the 'dry' way lol. Wet is easier and dry is harder. Anyways I am sure you can find something on that.

Awesome info Erick! Thanks!

I hear people all the time slamming one manufacturer or another's carbon stuff. I knew something must be different, maybe it's the wet/ dry manufacturing process. I'm going to be sure to ask each manufacturer that I carry and I'll begin to include that info in the product descriptions.

Thanks again,
