Wtf is with bugs and yellow. I park my car and within a minute there are like 5 flies on my car!

Dude I have the same problem! and the that shit they puke up is like acid. I have little dots of fly acid all over my car. angry

then again i get a bunch of flying bugs stoping by on my celi as well and mines red..

but thats only after i wash the car with some zymol car wash fluid ..perhaps it's the soap spineyes

Yeah my celi is white that there are always a ton of flies on my car.

Also I've been having a huge problem with birds...not them crapping on it but them flying into it!! The first day I got my car a birs flew into it when I was driving it. It's happened a couple other times too. They just won't get out of the way!!

maybe yellow reflects UV light somehow because many bug see in UV light

i have that very same problem... especially after i wash my car... Bees and Flys.. and nats... basically bugs... get all up on my hood... and just chill there for a bit...

it must be the color... i duno...but it's soo wierd... i find it funny some times...

This is the actual reason why they flock to yellow. Certain bees and other insects see a different color spectrum than the human eye sees. Instead of the usualy ROYGBIV wavelengths that we can only see, certain insects can see wavelengths with a higher frequency (UV rays), and thus enables them to find their food. As a result, they can't see most of our color spectrum (red, orange, YELLOW, green) but their eyes pick up the UV light and they zoom in checking to see if it's food.
