does a turbo system come with its own specific header to install or can you just use some other after market header with it?

Some kits will include an aftermarket exhaust manifold. You will need one to fit the specs of the kit and all the other details.

crap, well thats another mod im scratching off my list untill i get turbo This is true. But what you could do...buy the header if you really need that little push right now, and sell it later on when you have enough money for the turbo.
