Here's the deal:

I was going to purchase a set of HID's from this shop for $600 (yeah, i know, it's a lot) and I put a $200 deposit on them. Turns out I changed my mind and asked for my deposit back. The owner of the shop said that they have already shipped the lights and charged him the full price of them. Now, he isn't making me pay the balance because he might sell the lights to someone else, but now I have a $200 store credit to this stereo shop that I don't know what to do with.

Some ideas:
He can do a real carbon fiber dash kit for $300 installed (still too much $ IMO) but it is real carbon fiber overlays (like the GB iggy did )
New speakers (haven't looked at prices yet)

Any other ideas guys and gals?

p.s. I already have subs, box, amp, and head unit so I don't need any of that...

get a nice cd changer or deck from him and sell it on ebay, get some of ur cash back

anyway... if you can afford it, you still need the HIDs. They are awesome mods.

i just got some mtechs tho, and i've seen HID's for half that price...

Yeah, $600 is a heavy price. What brand were they, and did that include install?

Anywho, I'd make a new ebay account. Buy whatever you think will have the best resale value on there, and get your $200 back. Then get yourself a set of nice Phillips HIDs cheap somewhere.

^^that's what i was thinking too, since i already have $200 in credit..i was gona compare the pieces of that one with the pieces of the one for iggy's GB
