Check it out over at NC.org in the Forced Induction forums!! 251 Whp at 12 psi. Even at 7 psi this turbo puts down more to the wheel than the David Draper Turbo does at 8 psi. AND IT'S CHEAPER!!! they think it's going to start selling at 3100!!
Stafford is a very good company. I also believe Stafford did something new/different with their engine management. They got something patented right? I think thats what took them this extra couple months.
For a GT on 12 psi boost creating 251 whp, how much would this huge increase in power effect a celica? Also, with intake, exhaust, etc., is it expected that total horsepower may be near 270+?
Lastly, how much would it cost to upgrade the internals so you could be almost completely safe running at higher psi's?
If anyone knows, i would greatly appreciate their information. Thanks!
I believe they have a patent on their alcohal injection system (Option) Daily driver psi is at 7-8, but there is an option to just flip a switch and boost it to 12 psi w/ alcohal injection. You can't use this option as a daily driving thing, only when you want to spank a ZO6 on the freeway or something
kool that is one awsome turbo bro. hi wil , i still need your help to tighten up my lambo doors. its starting to scrape my car , thats why i need it done soon. please let me know when you can take a shot at it thanks again .
As far as spanking a ZO6...There is testimony from the car owner and 3 others that the turboed Celi pased the ZO6 at 115 mph after starting from a 35 mph roll.

holy shizzle, i can start killing ZO6's!!! SCORE!!
Hey guys, I am new to the forum. I have a 2002 Honda Civic EX. I am hoping to be trading it in soon for a 2000 Celica GTS. *cross his fingers*. Anyways, in regards to the SF Turbo you are talking about. They made the same kit for my current Civic in fact they were the first one to develop a kit. We had 3 main providers to begin with and now its pretty much SF because other turbo companies pulled out when they saw the SF power. I know that one member took our 16 second LX Model and ran a 12 second 1/4 run with the Alcohol injection kit from SF. So, its highly likely that a ZO6 would get smacked down by a turbo Celica. If you want to read more about SF power www.7thgencivic.com [7thgencivic.com] has a Turbo section practically dedicated to SF turbos.

ahh man I know your pain, my bro has a 2002 Honda civic ex and its slow as fuck.

ok when you have a turbo, you have to have a custom air intake and exhaust already, so thinkin you are gonna have the turbo takin it to 250, then add a hotshot header to bring it to 260, just wont work. with that much power in a fwd car not designed for 250, it will be hard to not spin. so other mods you would want is a l/s diff, pulley set, aftermarket injectors.
with the compression ratio of the gts you would actually get the same hp because you could not run as high a boost. plus with the lower compression, you will be more reliable

The internals that you really need for a Turbo, is mainly Piston rings, if you don't have those, you'll fuck up your car, You'll also need the manifold o-rings swapped with stronger ones, otherwise you'll blow those too. Pretty much that's the only internals you'll need to fix. As far as aftermarket goes, you want to make sure you have a good intercooler, intake, and a blow-off valve for a turbo. The cost for a COMPLETE turbo Upgrade on a bone-stock celi including things like exhaust, headers, intake and so on, could cost anywhere between 8-10G's, so start saving up your money. those of you who already have half of all these mods are halfway there!
