those are actually HID OEM headlamps ...you can tell by the holes right infront of the low beam projector

yup they are HID.. they can only use a D2S/D2R sized bulb for your low beam, they wouldn't be using an h7 bulb. This a D2S bulb ...D2R looks similar they also have motor which adjusts the vertical positioning of the beam output. If you have the money it's well worth it for HID use as it's specifically designed for that as compared to just putting in HID's into OEM halogen headlamps which usually causes glare for other drivers. here's some pictures of and OEM HID headlamp Versus a OEM h7 Halogen Headlamp.. https://celicahobby.com/ubbthreads/thread.f_1869931429_0_collapsed_5__1.html

...is it possible to just buy the shell of those head lights above and just use my stock head light stuff... seems easier that way.. you wouldn't be able to since the HID headlamps have a bit of a bigger bump where the projector sits.. so getting the shell of those HID headlamps and putting it into your stock headlamp probably woudln't fit/work and that's if you can't purchase them seperatly other options you could try is 1. Bat's headlamp Vinyl overlay's.. different ones to choose from http://www.bluebatmobile.com/gallery/album04 https://celicahobby.com/ubbthrea...#Post1953376085or 2. Toyota now makes OEM color matched Headlamps probably cost a lot though.. here's some examples of RoxyRacer 's car with them on https://celicahobby.com/ubbthrea...part=1&vc=1

^^ the hardest part is just taking the darn headlights out. after that it's supposedly easy to bake, break open, and reseal the lights.

Here's a writeup I did when I did mine. I was a bit apprehensive about doing them but it's not so bad. Take your time, give yourself a day (start early, the biggest time taker is waiting for the paint to dry) http://celicagarage.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1185Here's what they will look like if you paint the undersides (masking off the top will leave the top clear and the ribs will show through...) http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/405708/5
