I have an injen short ram and I haven't had a CEL. I've had it for about 4-5 months now.

the best short rams (sri's) for the celica are the injen and rmm, you shouldn't have a problem if done correctly. sometimes it necessary to reset your ecu (unplug your negative battery terminal for about 5 or so minutes) to get the settings to readjust but that should be all. also, off topic but worth talking about: if you buy either the injen or rmm sri's...look into buying the heatshields for them. they're dyno proven to give an extra horse or so which considerring the whole intake is only going to give you 2-3 whp it's worth it

You mean lose a horsepower. The same dyno will vary by around a horsepower (or more) each time.

He's referring to before heatshield/after heatshield.
I've also seen a review of intake temps that showed it can help lower intake temps.

I've also seen a review of intake temps that showed it can help lower intake temps. I know, if you guys say so. I have heard so many things about how the heatshield lost horsepower but you sound like you know something I dont. Yeah, here's my source: https://celicahobby.com/ubbthreads/thread.f0_93066_0_collapsed_5__1.html#93066Pay attention to "Short Ram" and "Short Ram with custom heatshield".

most will..to some extends..but from wat i've heard/read, TPR will not bog..since you don't need to worry about CARB approved, you betta off buying the TPR..it's a CAI and SR in one..it's convertable..plus it's only $185+shipping..make sure you check on that b4 choosing which intake to buy..u can find out more info about it by contacting Easy_C ..he sells them..

I have an RMM w/ heatsheild. Never bogs, no seeming loss in power. sounds awsome, and look spiffy. check profile.
