im into showing my car and im not too sure about what i should do to my car next. so maybe you guys could help me out. i was thinking about doing something under the hood or maybe going with a widebody kit but i dont know which one would be better. any suggestions would be great!
i mostly show at the baton rouge area, i have only showed 3 times and i got second place. i would have had more shows last year but i got into 3 accidents so my car was in the shop for about 6 months out of the year.
Please no widebody. I love the kaminari and I am so tired of seeing the apr widebody with those gay ass wind splitters. But hey if you like it disregard what I just said. Actually I hear you get more 'points' for a widebody so if thats what your looking for...
BETWEEN WHO YOU ARE AND WHO YOU COULD BE BETWEEN HOW IT IS AND HOW IT SHOULD BE
if ur leaving the kam kit, then get an aftermarket lookin hood (i dont know by names, but a mean looking one). maybe you should have it carbon fiber, carbon fiber spoiler splitter, x1 fenders, trd gas door, custom paint.
hey safieh, i think you should look into gettin a Fiber Glass sub box or Carbon Fiber hood. i personally am going to try to get my dash painted before the next show maybe look into doing that.
Those lines look like you were trying to photshop graphics but you never finished em...eh I say Carbon Fiber hood or a turbo but maybe some overlays from bat some of the simplest things make a car look badass
get the recaro seats with the green takata belts, Carbon Fiber covers for the engine, and replace all the caps with greddy or TRD and put the resivoir (sp) covers on the coolant and oil tanks! airbag your ride! that would be awesome man
custom paint and interior would be most noticeable. After that engine dress up. Saw a cool short ram with a neon light in it that looked cool in one car. the injen engine and sparkplug cover for our cars would look nice under the hood. painted or carbon fiber engine plastics are nice too and grounding kits and neons elsewhere.
Yeah, engine dress up would get you a lot of points. Since body mods and engine mods is where you get most of your points, that's what I would do next. I got 10 1st place trophies and mine was almost stock. Judges say I won just because my car was so clean. My engine just had a CAI and painted plastics. Another thing you can do to your engine for a couple dollars is take a rag and some Mothers metal polish to the surface of your engine. Rub the hell out of it with that a few times and you can get your engine to look almost chrome. Try it.
