Angel eyes are just for looks. They will not light up the road because of their design. The light is directed areound in a circle, not at the road.

Yep, they're just for looks. But the ones I make are around 3000-4000mcds. Thats Milla Candela I believe, they're farily bright but will not light up the road. If you've ever stared at an LED light before you'll know what I mean. But they can be seen from a distance if they're on and your headlights aren't.

they are an addition to a car for looks only. BMW has them just as the design of their headlights...they serve a purpose though.

Veilside Celica GTS is right. The angel eyes will not be noticeable when your low beams are on because the brightness of the light will drown out the angel eyes. Mine are only 2600 mcd. I have mine on a switch and only use them when ever I park somewhere for a couple of mins.

http://plaza.umin.ac.jp/~satoshi/mod0E2en.htmlyes.. its noticeable only in the dark without low-beam. if you wanna make a outstanding eye, you must install big ring inside the housing and in front of the lens
