no 350z would be a sleeper its an automatic sports car, if you want a sleeper you would have to go with a more suttle body style
but sure go ahead and get a supercharger exhaust intake, reprog ecu, get a soft top with a toper so you can have both instead of on or the other, get a huge ass stereo system.

i am absolutely in love with the z...I will obviously miss the celi because i have so much money in it right now but we all need to start something new sooner or later i suppose. With the stage 1 supercharger from stillen it will give it well over 300 horsepower at the wheels.the stage 2 gives it around 400 at the wheels i think. But in my town theres no way to use any of that so i might go for rims instead.

Uh, I would definetely read up more on the reviews of the 350Z. I hate to burst your bubble, but from what I've read, the Z has had teething problems, according to C&D, Motortrend. If you go with it, awesome, you'll have a real sports car in the garage.
Are you sure you want to go with a supercharger? I get the vibe that a TT would be more suitable for your purposes. 350ZX...how cool would that be.

I read that they have tranny issues. I also read they have bad tire feather. Alot of members said they were replacing there tires almost every 3-6 thousand miles! Im sure tires for a 350z arent cheap either. I guess a bunch of them even took their cars into nissian to have them check their alignment and tow(sp?) and they still couldnt get it fixed. But then again this was about 8 months ago when i read about this, things might have been fixed with the 05s. just go to my350z.com and if they still have there forum called "To Nissan" you can read all about it.

I am too going for a 350 in February...when my Celi's lease is over YES! ONly doubts with the Z is all those complaints from factory, but I am willing to take the risk. Get some tight rims man, like Volks and suspension, hopefully those will be my first mods

I was looking at the 350 and was actually ready to buy one a couple months back, before I was even trying to sell the Celi. Then I started reading all the forums on different sites... almost every Z has some sort of major problem. Tire feather, allignment, tranny, whatever else. I can't go from the Celi to a car that's in the shop for mystery problems all the time.

it's funny how we state problems with the Z...it's not like the celica got lift bolt problems, brake recalls, belt tensioners, and such do they???...LOL

Bravo. Exactly what I had in mind. Long term reviews were far from satisfactory by C&D's account.

The tire feathering thing with the Z seems like it could get pretty pricey by comparison though. I dunno, the Z has nice lines and performance; its a shame its got all these problems.

But then again, almost all cars have problems. If the Z was only going to need a couple minor tweaks like the Celi does (lift bolts and belt tensioners are not a very big deal if under warranty), I'd own one by now. Everyone who owns a Z says at MOST, the tires last 12k miles before the feathering causes horrible noise on the road. Also, the suspension seems to misalign itself constantly. Nissan even recognizes this. They the car will make a complete lane change within 6 seconds if allowed to travel in a straight line on a flat road. Beyond all of that, I've heard of horror stories with the tranny. Somewhere I remember seeing the Lemon Law stats on this car... its buyback ratio was something like 7x higher than the average new car. I love it's looks, power, feel, everything... but Nissan just put a car into production that probably was a year of R&D from being ready for it.
