I have a silver gts as you can see... it has a lot of scratches...
How would start? I got the touch up paint and I can't decide on what kind of sand paper i should get.

Should I sand paper the areas first then apply the touch up paint? If so what kind of sand paper?

Or use the touch up paint first then sand paper it with a fine grain sand paper like #1500.

Thanks in advance!

Well... we were leasing the car and I just love the car so much that I decided to buy it. for 3 years I didn't really take care of the car and never redlined either. I've decided to take better care of MY car now... grin

Get a quote at a GOOD body shop. It's never going to look right when you fix it yourself.

OR

Come park in my lot and wait for a semi to hit your car... free paint. rofl

Hey guys, anyone can suggest what would be the best shade of metalic silver spray paint the closest shade to the original liquid silver?except original touch up paint,I think that doesn't come in a spray can.

I got one more problem, all over my car(silver paint)there are tiny dots of rust,I do not know whether it's too unusual, but I do not think it should be like that. The GT is 2001.Is it possible to do something about that?Like wax or something? thanks
